Mt. Rainier National Park Trip Report: backpacking in glistening sun, through the alpine clouds, and the some of the heaviest rain my little tent has ever seen.

At least it kept the mosquito swarms away.. mostly.
We cut 37 logs (a new record)!
Tackled some wildly hazardous work sites
Luckily weren’t too affected by the fires
Even still managed some gorgeous mountain views!🥂

We made some incredible friends, we passed lots of hikers thanking us for our work and giving us jolly ranchers and hi-chews along the way…
I even came back to parking ticket on my van because they couldn’t see my wilderness pass LOL. - the forest service took care of me, don't worry!

But the best part- this was also the first trail crew I was joined by not only a second, but THREE redheads working together on the team!

We were quite the fiery trio all together. That 2% population must be growing somewhere.

Here’s to gingers uniting in the backcountry- huzzah!
